Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were contacted by a individual who discovered a car in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Around fifty cars have been smeared with what appears to be human blood in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement state they were contacted during the night on Wednesday, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored liquid.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then located multiple other vandalized vehicles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police say initial examinations suggest the liquid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its origin; authorities are currently not cognizant of any injuries in relation with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities said they were working "to solve the case" and have appealed to the public for information.

A high-ranking political figure stated the attack left him stunned and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the extremist violent incident five years ago," he wrote on online, mentioning the death of nine people by a assailant aiming at residents of migrant background in 2020.
